Our Roots

As the founder of Chronic Alphas, I know how isolating, scary and daunting it is to be diagnosed with a chronic illness. I have suffered with IBS since I was a young child and had recently been diagnosed with FND and Fibromyalgia. I went through a stage of not knowing what my future held, how my conditions would progress and what my life would become. I didn't know who to turn to as doctors couldn't give me any answers and I didn't know anyone else in my position.

That's when I decided to fight back, and I took my rehabilitation into my own hands. Through trial and error I managed to get myself into remission and I am now able to live a life comparable to the life I was living pre-diagnosis.

I started documenting my remission journey through content, hoping to help others walking a similar path. But what I discovered was something far bigger — so many people living with chronic illnesses were isolated, scattered across the world with no real community to turn to. They were fighting alone, just as I had been.

That realisation is why Chronic Alphas exists. We're here to unite chronic illness sufferers from every corner of the globe. We're here to show the world that we're not giving up, that remission is possible, and that you don't have to face this journey alone. Chronic Alphas stands for the fight within us all.
